In-depth Customer Review of the Dahon Mariner D7

The Dahon Mariner is one of the most popular bikes in the shop. It's shiny silver paint-job, complimentary rack and fenders, and toptube-to-bottom bracket corrosion resistance make it an attractive entry level option. The highly affordable price tag doesn't hurt either!

Al was a NYCeWheels customer who was so impressed with the Mariner D7 folding bike that he wrote us a lengthy review of his impressions after he and his wife spent a couple of years riding it. He offers his thoughts on the Dahon Mariner as a work commuting, errand running, riverside riding workhorse of a bike in our latest NYCeWheels folding bike review.

BionX-equipped Dahon Jetstream P8

My favorite thing about folding bikes is how easily they invite adventure, whether that means hopping a train with your compact Brompton in tow, or sailing in the bay with your rust-proof Dahon Mariner. Adding electric conversion systems to these already-amazing bicycles makes for an incredibly fun ride.

These facts were not lost on satisfied NYCeWheels customer Joseph, who wrote us a blog describing his adventures on a souped up dual suspension Dahon Jetstream P8 equipped with a powerful BionX electric assist system.
